Savanna to bring modern child care to Frisco

Savanna Day Care is a play and nature-based early childhood education center for kids ages birth to five, alongside a parent co-working space. The modern campus includes an 8,500-square-foot creative school and parent lounge, with over 13,000 square feet of outdoor playground space.

Ground broke on Savanna in Frisco’s Hall Park development Feb. 7.

The child care center will offer infant care and preschool. It will offer programs in science, technology, engineering and math; building; cooking; and creating.

Atop the child care, the facility—which is replacing the closed Nobel Learning Communities Inc. location—will feature a coworking and parent lounge. This will provide Savanna parents with a place to work alongside their children.

The renovation construction is underway and will be completed sometime in May before the summer opening, officials said at the groundbreaking event.

Preregistration will open March 12 for summer and fall enrollment.
