How HALL Park is Reshaping the Future of Office Parks

Learn about Craig Hall's vision for building Frisco's premier live-work-play destination.

Frisco, Texas, has undergone a remarkable transformation, growing from a quaint town of fewer than 6,000 residents to a bustling city of over 220,000 today.

At the heart of this transformation lies HALL Park, an ambitious project spearheaded by visionary developer Craig Hall, whose foresight and innovation have turned what was once farmland into a dynamic master-planned community.

Reimagining the Traditional Office Park

Craig Hall began acquiring land in Frisco in the late 1980s, envisioning a future for a city poised for growth on nothing but cattle-filled farmland.

The first office building at HALL Park broke ground in 1997, marking the start of a development that would grow to include 17 buildings and 2.5 million square feet of commercial space.

Today, the 162-acre campus is home to nearly 200 companies and 8,000 employees.

“We are building more than just a mixed-use development — we are creating a community where people can live, work and play for many years to come,” Hall said.

Recognizing that traditional office parks were becoming outdated, Hall and his team began envisioning a new future for HALL Park: to create a mixed-use community that fosters connection, culture, and convenience.

By 2020, the first phase of this reimagined development was unveiled, culminating in a vibrant ecosystem that reflects the city’s growing population and evolving lifestyle needs.

Elevating Frisco Living with The Monarch

Opened in October 2023, The Monarch brings luxury living to the heart of HALL Park, filling a critical gap in Frisco’s luxury housing market. Its location in the city’s emerging entertainment  district provides residents with upscale options for professionals seeking proximity to work, entertainment, and culture.

The Monarch features high-end appliances, luxurious finishes, and a suite of amenities. The 19-story residential tower offers 214 units, including eight exclusive penthouses. On the sixth floor, residents enjoy a state-of-the-art gym, an infinity-edge saltwater pool, and a 24-hour concierge service that curates events like HALL wine tastings.

The Monarch is perfect for HALL Park office tenants looking for a quick commute or for any residents looking to be in the centre of the booming city.

Creating a Space for Connection at Kaleidoscope Park

Kaleidoscope Park, which opened in October 2024, exemplifies HALL Park’s commitment to community, arts, and culture.

Designed by OJB Landscape Architecture, the team behind Dallas’ Klyde Warren Park and Houston’s Levy Park, this 5.7-acre park provides community space community space that offers free public programming throughout the week for not only HALL Park tenants and residents, but Frisco residents and visitors.

Its standout feature, Butterfly Rest Stop, a massive sculpture by Janet Echelman, is already drawing national attention as the largest public outdoor sculpture in North Texas. It is meant to depict milkweed flowers, a key nutrient to the monarch butterfly, paying homage to Frisco as a corridor for its migration.

It was just announced that the city of Frisco approved a new $14 million public/private partnership to expand Kaleidoscope Park and develop a new, multi-use parking garage.

The goal for the piece, and Kaleidoscope Park as a whole, is to make Frisco a destination for people from across the country and the world—and after drawing over 5,000 people in its grand opening alone, it’s well on its way to doing so.

From yoga classes to cultural events, Kaleidoscope Park is a hub of activity, fostering inclusivity and togetherness to all North Texas residents. As Craig Hall envisioned, this park is a “sandbox” for people of all backgrounds, bridging divides and building a sense of unity.

Hospitality Meets Art at HALL Park Hotel

The newly opened HALL Park Hotel is Frisco’s first Autograph Collection property. Operated by Coury Hospitality, the hotel features 224 rooms, including 60 apartment-style Reserve Suites tailored for corporate relocations and travelers with kitchenettes and terraces overlooking the Kaleidoscope Park.

Guests can enjoy curated art installations, a rooftop pool with a bar, and Palato, the hotel’s chef-driven restaurant offering Italian cuisine from Chef Eric Sakai, and wine— including selections from HALL Wines. The restaurant offers park packages with options for meals to go that can be enjoyed at the adjacent Kaleidoscope Park as well as lunch specials for the office crowd in and around HALL Park.

With over 20,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, it marks the perfect place to work, stay and play all in one setting.

A New Era for Office Spaces with The Tower

The Tower, which offers stunning views of Kaleidoscope Park, redefines the office experience with 364,000 square feet of rentable space that employers and employees alike are sure to love.

Designed with today’s workforce in mind, The Tower offers amenities including two terraces on every floor, a fitness center, private corporate lounge, and a large outdoor hospitality deck. The building also provides seamless access to the adjacent HALL Park Hotel. Each floor includes outdoor terraces for meetings, lunches, or moments of relaxation.

The Tower also offers state-of-the-art amenities, including move-in-ready office suites and a corporate lounge equipped for any occasion. The space includes ice machines and warming drawers inside to a fire pit and grill on the terrace, allowing it to be the perfect space for hosting corporate events of all sizes.

It was announced earlier this year that Chobani will be relocating its Plano presence to the newly opened Tower, signing a lease for over 28,000 RSF of office space.

Its direct connection to HALL Park Hotel ensures seamless access to hotel facilities, making it a coveted space for businesses.

Shaping Frisco’s Future

HALL Park’s transformation is not just about high-end buildings; it’s about creating a sustainable, interconnected community that evolves alongside Frisco. With other developments like PGA Frisco and Firefly Park on the horizon, HALL Park collaborates rather than competes, contributing to a stronger, more vibrant Frisco.

HALL Park is a testament to Frisco’s growth, offering a blueprint for cities aiming to blend innovation, culture, and connectivity. It is more than a destination—it’s a lifestyle hub that will shape the identity of Frisco for generations to come.
